- ★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆I paid $80 to overnight an urgent package for my business trip. Do to an operational error, it would arrive the 2nd day while I was at work and the rental I was staying at was a high trafficked sidewalk area. I asked for delivery time window or option to pick up at a store. The santa clara manager (Kia) told me I would have to pay for more the already 1 day late package. She said I could return to store and obtain a refund. After package returning home, she said I could no longer have a refund because it was not delivered. She didn't apologize and told me that was it. I spent 2 hours on the phone with UPS corporate and filed a complaint. The owner offered me a 20% discount if I wanted to pay again to ship the package that I no longer need on my work trip. She would take more money and not make anything right. In addition to that, the manager was extremely rude to my babysitter picking up the package with my children. They are not trustworthy, will take advantage of you, blame you and not make anything right. I am a small business owner and active duty military family. I am exasperated at my experience and the response. There should've been something done just by how my family was treated by the manager.By K Smith, November 30, 2016
